We are seeking a responsible and caring babysitter to assist with after-school transportation for our 9-year-old daughter in Jersey City, NJ. This position involves working three times a week on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Responsibilities include picking up our daughter from school in Midtown East/Upper East Side at 2:40 pm and bringing her safely to ballet class at the School of American Ballet at Lincoln Center, which runs from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm. After class, you will bring her back home to Midtown East, typically completing your duties by 6:00 pm. Additional tasks include occasionally helping her get ready, primarily with her hair, and providing homework assistance while waiting for her class to end. Candidates should be punctual, responsible, and comfortable navigating the city with children. It is important to be friendly, caring, and reliable, with prior experience in childcare preferred. Spanish speakers are encouraged to apply but it is not a requirement. Compensation will be based on your availability and hourly rate.
