We are seeking a responsible and fun-loving babysitter for an evening in Memphis, TN. The session will be from 10:00 PM on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, to 3:30 AM on Wednesday, September 10, 2025. You will be caring for Annie, an 8-year-old girl, and Bennett, a 4-year-old boy. Both children will have already had dinner and been put to bed before your arrival. Your main responsibilities will include ensuring the children remain safe and secure while asleep, engaging in quiet play or reading if necessary, and providing feeding as needed if either child wakes up. Familiarity with playing board games and engaging in activities with legos or dolls is a bonus, in case the children wake up and require some calming play. Please note, there are two dogs in the home—a golden retriever and a golden doodle puppy. The puppy will remain in the laundry room during your shift. As childcare duties do not include any driving or bathing, your focus will be on maintaining a calm and friendly environment until parents return from a downtown play. Ideal candidates will have experience with school-age children, a friendly demeanor around pets, and the ability to provide a comforting presence during late-night hours.
