We are seeking a responsible and caring babysitter for our 6-year-old daughter, Journey, in Baltimore, MD. This position requires availability five mornings a week, typically starting at 11:00 AM and ending at 1:00 PM. Responsibilities include waking Journey, assisting her with dressing, preparing breakfast, ensuring she brushes her teeth, and packing her lunch. Additionally, light conversation with her is encouraged until it's time to drive her to school, which is approximately five to seven miles away. The babysitter will also be responsible for walking our standard poodle, Chase, in the mornings. The ideal candidate must be comfortable with pets, as you will be handling a 57 lb dog. A parking space is available for your convenience, and a car seat will be provided for transporting Journey to school. You will need to download a school app for drop-off purposes. While food is provided for Journey, arrangements can be made for your meals if needed. Driving is required for this position, although bathing and bedtime routines are not part of the job.
