We are seeking a nurturing and energetic babysitter for our 3.5-year-old child in Greenbelt, Washington, DC. The position is for the current school year, running from October 1, 2025, to June 15, 2026. You will work Monday through Friday from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Responsibilities include providing a prepared snack and engaging in playful activities with our chatty and adventurous child. Outdoor play is encouraged, weather permitting. The ideal candidate enjoys working with children, possesses a basic understanding of child development, and preferably has a background in early childhood education. College education and solid references are a plus. The candidate should also be COVID vaccinated and boosted, and have their own transportation. We prioritize positive parenting techniques and value clear, open communication. The pay rate is $23-27 per hour, based on experience.
