We are seeking a responsible and energetic babysitter for our 4-year-old daughter, Aurora, in New Orleans, LA. The position will start on Friday, October 3, 2025, from 9:30 PM until 1:30 AM the following day. Aurora is a smart, talkative, and active child who enjoys a variety of activities including playing outside, swimming, riding her bike, and indoor activities like reading books, solving puzzles, watching TV, building with blocks, hosting tea parties, and creating with playdough. Responsibilities include engaging with Aurora in these activities, assisting with dinner around 5:15-5:30 PM, and helping with her bath around 7:15-7:30 PM. Although Aurora should be winding down by 8 PM, the expectation is to keep her entertained and cared for while her parents attend to other household duties and errands. Occasionally, there might be some Pre-K 4 homework to assist with. We have three dogs— a sweet 7-year-old beagle, a playful 4-year-old terrier, and a shy beagle hound—so a comfort with pets is necessary. No driving is required for this role. Once a relationship is established, opportunities for taking walks or visiting the park with Aurora may be available.
