We are seeking a responsible and energetic babysitter to care for our 4-year-old daughter in New Orleans, LA. The position involves engaging with her in various activities, such as playing outside, swimming, bike riding, and enjoying indoor pursuits like books, puzzles, TV, blocks, tea party, and playdoh. Our daughter, Aurora, is smart, active, and talkative, requiring a babysitter who can keep up with her lively nature. The job includes feeding her dinner around 5:15/5:30 PM, giving her a bath around 7:15/7:30 PM, and helping her wind down for bed by 8 PM. Occasionally, there may be some Pre-K 4 homework assistance needed. We prefer a babysitter who can establish a good rapport with Aurora and would be comfortable taking her on walks or to the park on weekends. Our household includes a sweet 7-year-old beagle, a playful 4-year-old terrier, and a shy 4-year-old rescue beagle hound, so comfort with dogs is essential. Responsibilities also include feeding and bathing Aurora, but no driving or bedtime settling is required. We will be home but occupied with other tasks, and we may occasionally need to run errands.
