We are seeking a responsible and energetic babysitter to care for our 4-year-old daughter, Aurora, in New Orleans, LA. The position is for the evening of Saturday, October 18, 2025, from 8:00 PM to 12:00 AM. The job involves engaging in both indoor and outdoor activities with a vibrant and creative toddler. Activities may include playing outside, swimming, biking, reading books, doing puzzles, and having tea parties. Dinner will be around 5:15-5:30 PM, with bath time scheduled for 7:15-7:30 PM, followed by wind down time until 8 PM. Parents will be home but attending to other household duties, requiring a sitter comfortable with independently managing playtime and bedtime routines. Occasional support with Pre-K homework may be needed. Once a relationship is established, we are open to you taking Aurora on walks or to the park. Applicants should be comfortable around dogs. We have three dogs: a sweet 7-year-old beagle, a playful 4-year-old terrier, and a shy 4-year-old rescue beagle hound. Feeding is required, but no driving, bathing, or putting children to bed is needed.
