We are seeking an engaging and responsible babysitter for our 4-year-old daughter, Aurora, in New Orleans, LA. The job involves caring for her on Friday, October 3, 2025, from 9:30 PM to Saturday, October 4, 2025, at 1:30 AM. Aurora is a smart, active, and creative little girl who enjoys activities like playing outside, swimming, riding her bike, and various indoor activities such as reading books, solving puzzles, watching TV, and engaging in play such as tea parties and playing with Play-Doh. While you will primarily be responsible for babysitting Aurora, we will be home managing household duties and errands. Key responsibilities include facilitating her dinner around 5:15-5:30 PM, managing bath time around 7:15-7:30 PM, and winding down activities until about 8:00 PM. Occasionally, there may be some Pre-K 4 homework to assist with. Aurora shares her home with three dogs: a sweet, chill 7-year-old beagle, a playful 4-year-old terrier, and a shy 4-year-old rescue beagle hound. No driving is required for this position, but you will be responsible for feeding, bathing, and putting Aurora to bed. Once a comfortable relationship is established, weekend activities may also include outings to the park or neighborhood walks. If the babysitting takes place on a weekend, lunch will be around 11:30 AM with a snack after her nap, which usually lasts from noon to 2:00 PM. We are looking for someone who can provide a safe, fun, and structured environment for Aurora and ensure her evening routine is adhered to efficiently.
