We are seeking a caring and reliable babysitter for a short evening visit in our Oakland, CA home on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, from 12:00 AM to 4:00 AM. You will be looking after Homayoun, our 6-year-old son, while we are out celebrating a birthday. Responsibilities include assisting with his nightly routine, tucking him into bed, and reading a book or two together before bedtime. Homayoun may require a small snack before bed, so basic meal preparation is necessary. We encourage fostering a tidy environment, so please motivate Homayoun to clean up after play, and assist with resetting the space if needed. Our home is equipped with numerous toys and activities to keep things engaging and enjoyable. A reliable car is essential due to our location in the Berkeley Hills. We offer $27 per hour with the possibility of an increase based on experience. While there are no dogs, we do have a cat and fish, so comfort around pets is important. Babysitter can enjoy food and snacks available in the house. The candidate must be familiar with bedtime routines but will not be required to drive or bathe Homayoun.
