We seek a responsible and caring babysitter to assist with caring for our two children in Orlando, FL. Our 11-year-old daughter is helpful, while our 5-year-old son is nonverbal autistic and requires gentle and understanding care. Duties include helping the children prepare for school in the mornings, dropping them off, picking them up in the afternoons, and providing general assistance at home. The schedule will be approximately 30 hours per week, with mornings from 6:30 to 8:30 AM and afternoons from 2:00 to 5:00 PM, including weekends from 6:30 to 8:30 AM. Flexibility is important as our schedule varies due to our jobs as firefighters. A reliable car is required for transportation. We have two friendly dogs, a German Shorthair Pointer and a French Bulldog, who will be in the home. No bathing or bedtime routines are involved, but feeding will be needed. This position is temporary, lasting 6 to 10 weeks, while our usual caregiver recovers from surgery. We are searching for someone dependable who can begin as soon as possible to assist in coordinating the surgery date.
