We are seeking a caring and attentive babysitter for our 2-month-old baby boy in Virginia Beach, VA. The role involves caring for a newborn and establishing a nurturing routine. Responsibilities include playing with the baby during wake-windows, encouraging age-appropriate play and milestones, and supporting feeding times with the mother and bottle as needed. Feeding usually leads to nap time, which may occur in the crib or as a contact nap. You will be responsible for monitoring the baby via monitor during crib naps and cleaning any used bottles. The mother works from home, and care is needed during heavy meeting hours. The schedule is as follows: Monday from 8am-12pm, Tuesday from 12pm-3pm, occasional shifts on Wednesday, and Thursday from 8am-12pm. A weekly rate shift is available. There is a friendly 3-year-old male Labrador present; he is energetic, well-behaved, and responds to commands. No other pets are in the home. Tasks include feeding but do not require driving, bathing, or putting the baby to bed.
