The role involves providing in-person Geometry tutoring to a 9th-grade student, focusing on helping them understand and approach problems, learn Geometry proofs, and develop study habits. The ideal candidate is a current undergraduate or graduate student with a strong background in math and prior tutoring or mentoring experience. Responsibilities include breaking down problems into manageable steps, encouraging independent thinking, and providing light feedback to parents. Sessions are 60 minutes, held in-person on Tuesdays and/or Saturdays in Irvine, CA. A fixed weekly schedule is preferred.
