We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Teacher/Caregiver for The Rock Daycare in Jersey City, NJ, to join our team for March and April 2026. This full-time, temporary role involves caring for a 7-year-old child in our home-based, OCFS-licensed family daycare. Working hours are Monday through Friday from 8 am to 6 pm. The ideal candidate will create an engaging and supportive learning environment, deliver age-appropriate curriculum activities, and support the child's social and developmental milestones. Responsibilities include managing classroom activities, fostering positive behaviors, and collaborating with parents to enhance the child's educational journey. Experience in early childhood education and classroom management is essential. Candidates should have a warm and nurturing demeanor, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative approach. A degree in Early Childhood Education and experience in daycare settings are required.
