We are seeking enthusiastic and responsible individuals to join our team as Summer Camp Babysitters at the Greenwich Botanical Center in New York, NY. This seasonal position runs from June 1, 2026, to August 31, 2026. You will be supervising a group of 6-year-old campers, engaging them in outdoor educational activities, ensuring their safety, and serving as a positive role model. Responsibilities include supervising campers during camp hours from 8 AM to 4 PM, leading activities, assisting with setup and cleanup, and following all safety guidelines. Candidates must be comfortable outdoors in all weather conditions, except during severe weather when shelter will be provided. Requirements include the ability to walk on trails with a backpack, pull wagons, or lift up to 30 pounds, good communication skills with staff and campers, CPR certification, mandated reporter training, and a background check for those 18 and older. A health exam form and immunization records are required for staff under 18.
