We are seeking a responsible and engaging babysitter for our 9-year-old son in Birmingham, AL. This position is for an overnight sitting on Saturday, March 7, 2026, from 12:00 AM to 7:00 AM while we attend a concert. Your primary duties will include supervising dinner, ensuring our son watches cartoons until 8:15 PM, helping him get ready for bed, and reading a bedtime story. Dinner will be provided, but he tends to eat slowly and may need encouragement to finish. He enjoys watching cartoons before bed and should be guided to start his bedtime routine at 8:15 PM. Although brushing teeth is part of his routine, it's fine to skip if needed; we'll follow up in the morning. Please note that video games are not allowed at this time. Our home has two cats, Milo and Rosalie, who are typically shy but may occasionally be underfoot. No driving, feeding, or bathing is required. We are accessible by phone or text during our outing.
