We are seeking a kind, patient, and reliable babysitter for our 3.5-year-old child in Pomona, Orange County, CA. This position requires someone who genuinely enjoys working with children and can commit to long-term consistency. The schedule is flexible and consists of four days a week: one weekend day from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM and three weekdays from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM. Exact days are open to adjustment based on your availability. Key responsibilities include engaging in play and activities with our child, giving baths, preparing simple meals or snacks, and ensuring a safe and tidy environment, which includes basic cleanup after playtime and meals. Candidates with experience in caring for toddlers or preschoolers are preferred. Ideal applicants should be patient, calm, a non-smoker, and have excellent communication skills. There are three cats in the home, so comfort around cats is necessary. Compensation is $22 per hour. There is potential for additional responsibilities, such as picking up from preschool if the position becomes long-term.
