We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Family Assistant to help manage household tasks in South Austin near Garrison Park. This role requires a commitment of 6-8 hours per week, with a flexible schedule between the hours of 8am and 12pm on any two weekdays. Responsibilities include folding and putting away laundry, meal preparation and cooking 2-3 meals per week, light cleaning such as vacuuming and tidying, organizing, and occasional errands. Additionally, assistance in researching and creating lists, such as summer camps and travel activities, is needed. The ideal candidate must be a good communicator, punctual, and detail-oriented. This position requires a year-long commitment starting in May 2026, with the option to extend for another year. Pay is dependent on experience and ranges from $25-30 per hour. There are no pets in the home, and no responsibilities related to feeding, bathing, bedtime, or driving are required for the 5-year-old child.
