We are seeking a caring, dependable nanny for our happy and active 17-month-old son in Washington, DC. This part-time position is ideal for a college or graduate student in nursing, education, or health sciences seeking consistent hours. The role guarantees 24-30 hours per week, typically from 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM on 4-5 weekdays, with some scheduling flexibility. Responsibilities include engaging in structured play, developmental and outdoor activities, preparing meals, following a nap routine, maintaining a safe environment, and light cleanup related to the child's meals and activities. The position requires a dependable, patient, and attentive caregiver who is a non-smoker and physically able to engage with a toddler. Reliable transportation is needed, and candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. Prior childcare experience and CPR certification are preferred. Both parents work from home in a multi-level townhome, and easy parking is available.
