We are seeking a warm, responsible, and engaging nanny for our 4-year-old son for the summer months in LeClaire, Iowa. The position will run from May 26, 2026, to mid-September, offering a flexible end date to accommodate school schedules. Your schedule will be Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday, from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with guaranteed hours and no work required on Thursdays. The compensation for this position is $16 per hour. Your responsibilities will include providing nurturing care, planning and leading enriching activities such as outdoor play and library visits, and driving to local activities. You will also be required to pick up our younger sibling daily by 4:00 PM. Our ideal candidate will have prior childcare or nanny experience, be dependable and proactive, and enjoy engaging with young children. A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation is required. We provide food and snacks, and our supportive family environment ensures a consistent, enjoyable summer position. Our home includes an 11-year-old Australian Shepherd who is very good with kids and still fairly energetic.
