Independent Presbyterian Church in Birmingham, AL is seeking friendly and responsible babysitters to assist during a high-attendance Sunday event. Join a team of childcare staff and volunteers to care for children ages 2–6 from 1:00 PM to 5:30 PM. Responsibilities include engaging in active play, supervising in the playroom and on a large, gated playground, and attending to the children's needs. Activities will include coloring, reading, and building with LEGOs. You may also be required to serve a simple snack provided by the church. Upon arrival, you will receive an IPC Childcare T-shirt to wear during your shift for easy identification by parents. You will work alongside experienced staff members or volunteers to maintain safe child-to-adult ratios. Please review IPC’s Child and Youth Protection Policy before your start time.
