Infant Babysitter

We are seeking a responsible and caring babysitter for our 1-year-old child in Newark, NJ, for a one-time position on Thursday, May 7, 2026, from 12:15 PM to 11:00 PM. The primary responsibility is providing attentive and engaging care for our baby, including preparing age-appropriate meals, engaging in play, and managing naptime and bedtime routines. Additional duties include basic household tasks such as light cleaning, laundry, and pet care, including walking the dogs and feeding our friendly pets. Applicants must be fully vaccinated, non-smokers, and comfortable with maintaining a fragrance-free environment. We expect adherence to strict safety guidelines, including not inviting guests over, locking doors, and avoiding screen time around the baby. Communication and a proactive approach are key, as we are looking for someone to help lighten our load and possibly provide ongoing care, if it is a good fit. Multilingual candidates are highly encouraged, as we aim to expose our baby to multiple languages.
