Afternoon and Evening Babysitter for Two Children

We are seeking a compassionate and creative babysitter to support our family in New York, NY. You will provide care for our two energetic and sweet children, aged 5 and 7, who are twice-exceptional (2e), including experience with ASD (lower support needs) and ADHD. The role involves babysitting 3 weekday afternoons per week, plus occasional evenings and weekends, with a focus on engaging and playful activities. An ideal candidate will be warm, patient, and neurodiversity affirming. A love for physical activities and cats is essential, as we have three gentle feline companions. This position offers a great opportunity for students in fields such as Special Education, Speech-Language Pathology, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Psychology, or BCBA to gain practical experience over the spring and summer, with the possibility of extending beyond. Responsibilities include providing engaging and creative activities for the children while ensuring a safe and nurturing environment. No driving, feeding, bathing, or bedtime routines are required.
