Summer Babysitter for School-Age Child

We are seeking a responsible and caring summer babysitter for our 7-year-old child in Hartford, CT. This position will run from June 1, 2026, to September 1, 2026. The ideal candidate should enjoy working with children and be able to engage them in a variety of activities to keep them entertained and safe. Responsibilities: - Supervise and interact with the child in a safe and nurturing manner - Organize and participate in indoor and outdoor activities suitable for a 7-year-old - Ensure the child is entertained and engaged throughout the day - Follow any instructions provided by the parent regarding the child's daily routine Requirements: - Previous experience in babysitting or childcare preferred - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Reliable and punctual - Ability to work independently and responsibly No driving, feeding, bathing, or bedtime duties are involved in this role.
