Evening Babysitter for Young Children

We are seeking a responsible and caring babysitter for a last-minute, one-night engagement in New Orleans, LA. You will primarily be responsible for engaging with, bathing, and putting to bed our 4-year-old son. Our two older sons, aged 12 and 9, are mostly self-sufficient but may need gentle reminders to complete their homework, practice piano, and clean the third floor. They are also available to assist with their younger brother's routine. The job will include managing bedtime routines and providing a nurturing environment for the children. Pets are present in the home, including a friendly white lab mix dog and a Siamese cat. The dog is playful but relaxed in the evenings, while the cat will keep to himself. The ideal candidate should be comfortable around pets and ensure the cat remains indoors. The scheduled start time is Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at 11:15 PM, with an end time of Thursday, May 14, 2026, at 3:00 AM. This opportunity does not require driving or feeding responsibilities.
