Babysitter for 1-Year-Old

We are seeking a responsible and proactive babysitter for our 1-year-old child in Newark, NJ on Saturday, June 27, 2026, from 11:30 AM to 4:00 PM. As a babysitter, your primary responsibility will be taking care of our baby, including preparing and feeding age-appropriate meals, engaging in enriching activities, and managing nap times. We have friendly cats and dogs, so you should be comfortable with pets. You’ll be responsible for pet care, including feeding and walking dogs when they're home, but rest assured they are usually with my husband during work hours. Please note the following requirements: - Must be vaccinated and a non-smoker. - No perfumes, scents, or scented lotions during the shift. - Maintain a shoe-free environment and practice frequent hand washing, especially before handling the baby or preparing food. - Engage actively with the baby, with no screen time exposure allowed. - Ensure all external doors are locked at all times and do not let the pets out. - Do not answer the door for strangers and do not take the baby anywhere without prior approval. We may consider both short-term and long-term care. If it’s a good match, future opportunities like date night babysitting could be discussed.
