Part-Time Babysitter for Young Children

We are seeking a responsible and energetic babysitter to assist as a mother's helper in Portland, ME, starting June 29, 2026. This role is perfect for a responsible teen, college student, or nanny looking for extra hours, who enjoys spending time with young children. You will be primarily responsible for entertaining and playing with a 3-year-old girl while the mother works from home. The role involves no driving, feeding, bathing, or bedtime duties. You will also have some interaction with a 5-month-old boy, although the mother will handle feeding and naps. The position is Monday to Friday, from 10am to 2pm, totaling 20 hours per week, with some flexibility in hours. Compensation ranges from $17-20/hr, depending on experience.
