Interactive Babysitter for 5-Year-Old

We are seeking a warm and engaging babysitter to care for our 5-year-old boy in Austin, TX. This position involves working Sunday evenings from 3:00–5:00 PM, with some flexibility. We are interested in finding someone who can build an ongoing relationship with our family, providing dedicated one-on-one engagement through activities such as reading, board games, workbook exercises, and play-based learning. This role focuses on being an interactive, consistent adult who enjoys following a child's interests and introducing new activities in a fun, low-pressure manner. We value patience, engagement, and a genuine love for spending time with children. While experience in education, tutoring, child development, special education, or ABA is a plus, it is not required. As parents and other family members will generally be present in the home, the position is collaborative and supportive, rather than sole-charge childcare. There are no pets in the home, and the job does not involve driving, feeding, bathing, or bedtime responsibilities. The primary aim is to provide a nurturing and stimulating environment for our child.
