Toddler Babysitter

We are a warm and loving family in Washington, DC, seeking a reliable, caring, and engaging babysitter to help care for our toddler daughter on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM. The ideal candidate will genuinely enjoy working with young children and provide a safe, nurturing, and fun environment. Responsibilities include attentive care and supervision, engaging in age-appropriate activities such as reading, singing, crafts, and outdoor play, preparing and serving snacks and meals, assisting with diaper changes and potty training, and maintaining the child's daily routine, including naps. The job also involves light housekeeping related to the child, such as cleaning up toys and play areas, washing bottles and dishes used, and tidying the child’s bedroom and belongings. You will also need to communicate with parents regarding activities, meals, naps, and any concerns. Qualifications include previous experience caring for infants or toddlers, reliable transportation, a non-smoker, comfort around a small dog, and possessing a patient, trustworthy, and energetic personality. No driving or bathing is required, but feeding is part of the job, and you will assist with bedtime. Our family has one small dog.
