Evening Babysitter for Young Children

We are seeking a responsible and proactive babysitter for a one-time engagement in New York, NY on Tuesday, July 14, 2026. The primary focus is on providing attentive childcare for a 4-year-old boy and a 6-year-old girl from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM. This position combines childcare with household management responsibilities. Your key duties will include managing the children’s evening routine, including school pickups and transitions to evening activities. You will also be responsible for light household tasks such as managing the dishwasher, tidying common areas, and preparing simple, healthy dinners. Additional responsibilities include organizing children's supplies, tracking school calendars, and maintaining a peaceful environment through light cleaning tasks. The ideal candidate will be a natural problem solver with excellent organizational skills and the ability to anticipate household needs. There are no pets in the household, and the role does not involve driving, feeding, bathing, or putting the children to bed.
