Afternoon Babysitter for 7-Year-Old

We are seeking a responsible and motivated college student, preferably male, to provide childcare for a 7-year-old in Oakland, CA, Monday through Friday from 1:30 PM to 6:30 PM. The position requires flexibility, with an option for shorter hours from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM, and potential for additional hours on alternating Fridays, weekends, and evenings. Responsibilities include transporting the child to activities, assisting with schoolwork, and helping with online classes. Must have your own vehicle and be comfortable using Google Calendar. Light housekeeping and meal prep are also part of the duties. The household is pet-free, and a parent will be present 80% of the time. Candidates must pass a background check and fingerprinting, with reimbursement available after a period of consistent work. Starting pay is $25/hour, and onboarding averages one month. Smoking is not permitted, and applicants should live within a 15-30 minute drive.
