We are seeking a responsible and engaging afternoon babysitter for our 8-year-old daughter in New Haven, CT. This position requires providing approximately 12-15 hours of childcare support per week, usually Monday through Thursday from 3:30 PM to 6:00 PM, with potential for additional weekend hours. Responsibilities include safe transportation from school to home or activities, assisting with homework and educational tasks, and preparing snacks. Candidates must have proven childcare experience, a clean driving record, a reliable vehicle, and auto insurance. Start and end times for an upcoming shift are August 20, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Pay is dependent on experience. Our family has a golden retriever puppy cared for by us, so pet interaction is minimal.
