Part-Time Babysitter for Older Kids

We are seeking a responsible and energetic caregiver to join our warm family in Chicago, IL. This position is ideal for a college or graduate student who enjoys working with older children, is organized, and looking for consistent part-time hours during the school year. Responsibilities include picking up our children, aged 12 and 16, from school, driving them to sports and activities, helping coordinate after-school schedules, providing homework support, and general supervision. Additional duties include meal preparation or helping get dinner started, walking and feeding our two dogs, a golden retriever and a Bernese mountain dog, running occasional errands, and assisting with household tasks such as loading the dishwasher, laundry, and tidying up the kitchen and family room. We seek someone dependable and punctual, comfortable driving teenagers, friendly, mature, responsible, organized, and comfortable with dogs. The position offers approximately 15-25 hours per week, primarily during weekday afternoons and early evenings, with flexibility around class schedules. Competitive hourly pay is offered based on experience.
