Afternoon Babysitter for Kindergartner

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented babysitter for our 5-year-old son in Durham, near NCSSM. The position begins on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, at 4:45 PM and ends at 6:30 PM. Responsibilities include picking him up from his kindergarten program at 1 PM, encouraging quiet activities, and walking him to his aftercare program a little after 2 PM. Light housekeeping tasks such as dishes, kitchen reset, dinner prep, and tidying common areas or kids' spaces are also expected to help keep our evenings running smoothly. Applicants should be comfortable working independently, have a clean driving record, and be okay with pets, as we have a 9-year-old Australian Shepherd named Matilda.
