Afternoon Babysitter

We are seeking a reliable and experienced babysitter for our two children, ages 8 and 10, in Orange County, CA. The position involves working Monday through Friday from 1:30 PM to 5:30 PM, with flexibility to start as late as 2:30 PM. Key responsibilities include picking up the kids from school around 2:30 or 3 PM, handling after-school activity drop-offs and pickups, preparing snacks, and engaging the children with various activities like park visits, pool time, games, and crafts. Additional hours may be available in exchange for household duties such as family laundry or dinner preparation, along with a possible babysitting night once a week. Our children are sensitive and kind, enjoy quiet activities, and are involved in sports and academic clubs. The family provides a vehicle, gas, and necessary expenses for food and activities. We offer a supportive environment with at least one parent working from home in a private office. Candidates must have a valid US driver’s license with a clean driving record, be a non-smoker, a capable swimmer, and possess prior childcare experience. We value organization, communication, reliability, and the ability to maintain a regular routine. Referrals are required. Compensation is $22 - $28 per hour based on prior experience, with paid holidays, paid sick time, and guaranteed minimum hours per week.
