After-School Babysitter for Toddler

We are seeking a dependable and energetic babysitter to care for our almost 3.5-year-old son in Charleston, SC. The position involves picking up our son from daycare and spending the afternoon with him, Monday through Friday, from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM. Our child is lively, kind, and curious, enjoying engaging activities that involve exploration and problem-solving. We practice Montessori principles at home, focusing on respectful communication and encouraging our son to follow his interests and try things independently. While experience with Montessori is a bonus, the most important qualities are patience, energy, and a warm presence. Responsibilities include driving our son from his daycare, engaging in activities either at home or nearby, and occasionally supervising water play. We have two friendly labradoodles, so comfort around dogs is necessary. Reliability and consistency are key as the role is crucial for our family's routine.
