School-Aged Babysitter

We are a busy family in Washington, DC seeking a reliable and experienced School-Aged Babysitter for our three children, ages 11, 9, and 7. This part-time, long-term position is set to start on Thursday, August 20, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM. The ideal candidate will be responsible for bus pickup, helping with homework, driving our family van to activities, preparing meals, and performing light housekeeping such as tidying, using the dishwasher, and doing laundry. Additionally, you may be required to run errands and assist with keeping the household organized. Requirements include: - Previous experience working with school-aged children - Excellent English communication skills - A valid driver's license with a clean driving record - Confidence and comfort in driving a van We are looking for someone who is organized, proactive, dependable, warm, energetic, and enjoys engaging with children. This W-2 position offers competitive pay based on experience, with the potential for a long-term commitment of 2 to 3+ years. References are required. No pets are present in the household.
