Part-time Babysitter for Infant and Preschooler

We are seeking a patient, energetic, and responsible babysitter to care for our 1-year-old boy and 4-year-old girl in Washington, DC. The job involves supervising the children from 12:00 PM to 09:00 PM on Monday, August 17, 2026, with potential for additional days in the future. Responsibilities include tidying play areas, feeding meals and snacks, supervising the children at all times, avoiding screen time, and engaging them in educational activities such as reading and learning colors, shapes, numbers, and ABCs. Communication with parents and grandparents regarding any concerns is essential. Must be comfortable around our friendly 25lb Westie terrier and take him on walks if accompanied by a grandparent. Device usage is discouraged during work hours, and photography of children is prohibited. Candidates should bring their own lunch, with both paid and unpaid breaks provided.
