Adult Caregiver for Individual with Down Syndrome

We are seeking compassionate and reliable caregivers to join a team providing care for our 33-year-old daughter in Milwaukee, WI. Our daughter, who has Down syndrome and is recovering from a stroke, is mobile with walking aids and enjoys a quiet, easy-going lifestyle. Care responsibilities include personal care assistance, companion care such as playing games, occasional driving to social activities, laundry, simple meal preparation, and housekeeping tasks like vacuuming and dusting. Qualifications for this role include being caring and reliable. Caregivers need to be willing to be paid through the IRIS long-term care program, supplemented with private pay. The schedule is as follows: Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM, Wednesday from 4:30 PM to 8:30 PM, two Fridays a month from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM, and two Saturdays a month from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
