Afternoon Babysitter for Elementary-Aged Children

We are seeking a responsible college student to care for our two daughters, ages 7 and 5, in Chicago, IL. The position is primarily needed on Mondays and Thursdays from 2:45 pm to 5:30 pm, with the possibility of additional hours on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Responsibilities include picking the girls up from their school, which is within walking distance from our home in the Sauganash neighborhood, providing snacks, assisting with homework, light tidying, and preparing their lunch/snack for the next day. The role also involves taking the children to after-school activities or play dates, for which our family SUV may be used, given a safe driving record is demonstrated. Candidates must have experience babysitting or nannying for children of similar age or younger and provide a minimum of 2 references along with a good driving record. This is a great opportunity for students at NEIU as our home is only a 6-minute drive from the campus. Pay ranges from $20/hr to $25/hr, depending on experience and qualifications.
