Afternoon Babysitter for School Age Child

We are seeking a responsible and caring babysitter for our 7-year-old child in Washington, DC. Care is needed 3 days a week, typically within a 3-8 PM time frame, totaling about 12-16 hours per week. Days may vary based on after-school activities and work schedules, with occasional weekend needs. Responsibilities include driving the child to various after-school activities, preparing simple family dinners, assisting with 8-year-old's homework, and performing light tidying such as laundry, cleaning the kitchen, running the dishwasher, and taking out the trash when necessary. Applicants must have reliable transportation, a clean driving record, and be willing to submit to a background check. CPR certification is required, or the willingness to obtain one, along with references. The pay range is $18-28 per hour, depending on experience.
