Afterschool Babysitter for Elementary-Aged Children

We are seeking a warm, energetic, and organized babysitter with significant childcare experience to care for our three kids in Montclair, New Jersey. We have 7-year-old twins and a 4-year-old. The role involves getting the twins off the bus, helping with snacks and homework, driving the twins to activities, and picking up the 4-year-old from school using our car. You will create a fun and structured environment for the children after school. Occasionally, when both parents have evening commitments, you will help with dinner, bath, and bedtime. We require your commitment for the full 2026-2027 school year. The position is Monday to Friday from 3pm to 6pm with frequent opportunities for evening/bedtime sitting and weekends if interested. The hourly rate is $30. You must have your own transportation to our home, but you will drive our car for any activities involving the children.
