Afternoon Babysitter for Preteens

We are seeking a responsible and caring afternoon babysitter for our two daughters, ages 10 and 14, in New York, NY. The position is available Monday to Thursday from 2 PM to 7 PM. Primary responsibilities include driving carpool, assisting with homework, preparing dinner, and doing laundry once a week. Ideal candidates will have experience in childcare, a valid driver's license, and a reliable vehicle. This role involves a lot of downtime as many of the children's activities begin at 4 PM and conclude at 7 PM. There are no pets in the home. We are looking for someone who is punctual, friendly, and able to create a positive environment for our children. The start date for this position is Monday, August 31, 2026, from 6 PM to 11 PM.
