Evening Babysitter for School-Aged Children

We are seeking a responsible and caring babysitter to watch three children, ages 9, 7, and 5, for an evening in Norfolk, VA. The babysitting job is scheduled to start on Thursday, September 10, 2026, at 9:00 PM and will end on Friday, September 11, 2026, at 1:00 AM. Your primary duties will include ensuring the children eat their prepared dinner and assisting with light kitchen cleanup by stacking the dishes afterwards. The children should be settled down for bedtime as one of them has school the next day. While no bathing is required, facilitating a calm bedtime routine is essential. Our household includes a friendly 50lb mixed breed dog and a 10lb domestic shorthair orange tabby cat. Familiarity in handling pets is preferred, though there will be no direct pet care responsibilities. Reliability and previous experience with school-aged children are highly valued. Please be mindful of any allergies or discomfort with animals when applying.
