Evening Babysitter for Multi-Age Group

We are a friendly family in Washington, DC, seeking a warm, reliable, and engaging babysitter for an occasional evening out. You will be responsible for caring for our four children, ages 10, 7, 4, and 19 months. The older children are largely self-sufficient and require minimal supervision. Your primary focus will be on our energetic 4-year-old and 19-month-old, involving playtime, snacks, bath time, and settling them for the evening. This position requires someone who is patient, playful, and has a genuine affection for young children, particularly toddlers. Strong reliability and communication skills are essential. While this posting is for a one-time job on Friday, August 28, 2026, from 10:00 PM to 1:00 AM, we hope to find someone who may become our preferred babysitter for future date nights. Note: No pets are present in our home, and there will be no requirement to manage pet care.
