Evening Babysitter for 5-Year-Old

We are seeking a reliable, fun, and active babysitter for our 5-year-old son in Des Moines, IA. This is a recurring position, twice a week on an ongoing basis. The ideal candidate will genuinely enjoy spending time with children and engage in activities such as playing outside, going for walks, riding bikes or scooters, crafts, reading, and games. We encourage active and imaginative play with minimal screen time. Responsibilities include engaging with our son in play, encouraging outdoor activities when weather permits, feeding him dinner (easy-to-prepare meals provided), assisting with his evening routine, helping him get ready for bed and tucking him in by 8 PM, and light cleanup of items used during dinner and playtime. Our son is social and energetic, and we are looking for someone dependable, patient, responsible, and possibly interested in becoming our regular sitter rather than seeking occasional engagements.
