After School Babysitter

We are seeking a kind, fun, reliable, and proactive babysitter to provide after school care for our two children, a 4-year-old boy and a 10-year-old girl, in New York, NY. The position starts on August 28, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Our family values long-term commitment and open communication. Responsibilities include picking up the children from school, driving them to after school activities, supporting light homework, engaging in play, preparing snacks and simple dinners, and light cleaning duties such as using the dishwasher, kids' laundry once a week, and organizing toys. We have a mini dachshund, weighing 10 lbs, as part of our friendly household. If you genuinely enjoy working with children and meet our expectations, we would love to welcome you into our family for ongoing daily care, approximately 25 hours per week starting early September.
