Overnight Babysitter for Young Children

We are seeking a responsible and caring overnight babysitter in Washington, DC, to care for three children, ages 2, 4, and 7. This position starts on Thursday, September 10, 2026, at 10:00 PM and ends on Friday, September 11, 2026, at 1:00 PM. Care will be primarily needed from 6 PM to 9 AM. The ideal candidate will have experience with young children and be comfortable with various bedtime and childcare responsibilities. Responsibilities include preparing and serving dinner and snacks, assisting with homework, and engaging in educational activities. You will ensure attentive supervision, assist with diaper changes for the 2-year-old, and manage bathroom breaks for the older children. Supporting bedtime routines and cleaning up after meals and activities will also be required. Additionally, you'll engage the children with playtime, games, and age-appropriate movies or TV. The job does not involve driving or handling pets. Feeding, bathing, and putting the children to bed are part of the responsibilities. Experience in handling young children at night and ensuring a safe, nurturing environment is essential.
