After-School Babysitter

We are seeking a reliable and caring after-school babysitter for our two children, ages 11 and 8, in Newark, NJ. The ideal candidate will have a genuine enjoyment of being around kids and preferably experience working with children with ADHD. Responsibilities include engaging with the children, assisting with homework, and driving them to after-school activities. You must have a clean driving record and a reliable car. Light household tasks related to the kids' activities, such as tidying up and simple meal preparation, are also part of the role. The schedule is Monday through Thursday from approximately 3:00 to 6:00 PM. We are hoping to find someone dependable who can become a consistent part of our kids’ routine and make those after-school hours enjoyable. Flexibility for occasional weekend hours is a plus.
