We are seeking a responsible and engaging after-school babysitter for our 8-year-old son in NE Capitol Hill, Washington, DC. This part-time position requires picking up our child from Mundo Verde Cook Campus in Shaw and providing enriching activities until approximately 5:30/6:00 PM. School pick-ups are at 3:30 PM on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, and at 1:00 PM on Wednesdays. Activities may include helping with homework, playing sports, or visiting local parks. The ideal candidate is flexible to use a car, public transit, or ride with our child on an electric cargo bike. There is potential for additional evening or weekend hours if desired. Pay is $20+/hour based on experience, and the position is to start as soon as possible. Please reach out, providing your relevant experience with children and your availability. References are welcome. No pets are present in the home.
