Babysitter for Toddlers

We are looking for a reliable, warm, and engaging babysitter to care for our two youngest children, ages 2 and 3, at our home in Washington, DC. The position is for Thursday, October 1, 2026, from 1:30 PM to 5:15 PM. Your primary responsibilities will include actively supervising and playing with the children, preparing and serving breakfast and lunch, and performing basic cleanup related to the kids, such as clearing lunch dishes and tidying up toy areas at the end of the shift. Candidates must be comfortable around dogs, as we have a friendly Shiba Inu in the home. While pet care is not required, comfort with the dog is necessary. Additionally, candidates must be CPR and First Aid certified or willing to obtain these certifications. We value punctuality and dependability in our sitter. This job does not involve driving or bathing the children, but it does require feeding and engaging with them. Please note that the position does not extend to bedtime activities.
